MARKET AND PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

As well as being a technical integrator, our position in the industry means that we also integrate technologies and businesses into projects and programmes, acting as the focal point to deliver whole-system solutions and create new markets for green ammonia products.

SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

The deployment green NH3 technologies is also a systems engineering challenge involving the design and management of complex systems. NH3 energy units are often best applied in hybrid energy systems and integrated with other technologies. Green Ammonia is an energy vector with many uses that can connect the energy and transport systems, the electricity grid and the gas grid.

Ammonia AS is applying system engineering approaches to establishing these technologies as well as to the technical challenges. We work to automotive system engineering standards in our hybrid power-train development across our multi-disciplinary team. We are working with partners and suppliers to design and develop complete systems for both energy and transport applications.

FUTURE PROOF SHIP DESIGN

Ammonia AS has experience ranging from conceptual design through basic and

Class design to detail design and preparation of production information, for a wide

range of ships for Owners and yards world-wide.

Ammonia is familiar with the rules of most IACS Classification societies.

Our senior management has hands-on shipyard experience.

One main focus today is the future-proof solution; a dual-fuel solution of LPG and ammonia.

The figure below shows that a dual-fuel powered ship running on liquefied

petroleum gas (LPG) could at some point in time shift fully to the zero-carbon fuel ammonia.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING FOR SHIPPING, WORLD-WIDE;

Ammonia Maritime will develop an approved and functional bunkering system, station and infrastructure.

In addidition we will coorporate with partners, authorities and classification societies to ensure ammonia approved as a maritime fuel under the IGC Code.
